Natalie McKinnie is a proud Columbia, SC native and graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she earned her B.A. in Journalism. She began her career at WIS-TV 10, spending eight years in broadcast media before transitioning into the financial services industry. Rising to the role of Regional Vice President, she expanded her business into Georgia and has since built nearly two decades of experience in financial services and insurance. In 2016, she launched the Natalie McKinnie Agency to serve individuals and families with trusted financial solutions.
Natalie became a member of Kingdom Life Fellowship Ministries International in 2004 and, after years of dedicated service, was ordained as an Elder in 2017. She also co-founded Breaking Chains Ministry, which provides vital support to survivors of sexual violence.
In 2022, Natalie released her book A New Crown of Glory, courageously sharing her personal survival story. The following year, in 2023, she launched New Mantle Enterprises LLC to help others start, grow, and scale their businesses, and went on to become a two-time Amazon Best-Selling Author.
Today, Natalie resides in Augusta, GA, where she continues to lead with faith, business expertise, and passion for empowering others. Above all, she treasures her role as the proud mother of Thaddeus McKinnie, Jr.
Nathaniel Abraham, Jr. is a trailblazer in South Carolina’s media landscape and the second-generation publisher of The Carolina Panorama Newspaper. For nearly four decades, he has carried forward his family’s legacy of journalism with a focus on community empowerment, economic growth, and cultural preservation. Through his widely respected Community Business of the Week column, he has showcased more than 700 African-American-owned businesses, amplifying voices that often go unheard.
Under his visionary leadership, The Carolina Panorama has grown into a statewide platform with the launch of Lowcountry Panorama in 2022 and Upstate Panorama in 2024, always guided by its mission: “Positive News for a Positive Community.”
Nathaniel’s impact has been recognized nationally and locally. He was honored as the 2013 South Carolina Minority Business Advocate of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration and received the President’s Award from the Columbia, SC NAACP in 2023. In 2024, he broke barriers as the first African-American elected President of the South Carolina Press Association.
More than a publisher, Nathaniel,Jr. is a champion for equity, entrepreneurship, and representation in media. He continues to inspire audiences with his commitment to building platforms that uplift communities and ensure African-American businesses and stories remain front and center. He and his wife, Patricia, are the proud parents of three adult children: Nathaniel III, Briana, and Amber.
Tenita Abraham is a Financial Advisor, Certified AI Consultant, Strategic Business Consultant, and Speaker with more than 25 years of experience in the investment and financial services industry. She is the founder of Building Legacies, LLC, where she helps individuals, businesses, and organizations merge financial wisdom with innovative AI strategies to create growth, efficiency, and long-term impact.
Her career began in Fortune 500 financial institutions, where she gained expertise in investing, retirement planning, and business development. Along the way, she earned her MBA in Marketing, became a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®, and obtained FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses. Today, she uses that strong foundation to empower others through consulting, training, and speaking engagements.
Tenita’s passion for legacy is deeply personal. She served as a full-time caregiver for her father during his battle with Alzheimer’s, an experience that reshaped her perspective on resilience, family, and purpose. In 2003, she also carried forward his media vision by taking over Progressive American Magazine, a platform dedicated to community empowerment. Today, she is transforming that legacy into a modern podcast and newsletter, ensuring that the message of progress and opportunity continues to reach new generations.
As a columnist for the Carolina Panorama Newspaper, Tenita brings financial literacy, business insights, and the promise of AI to the forefront, making complex ideas accessible to everyday readers. She also speaks at summits, universities, and community events, using her signature E.L.I.T.E. Framework—Educate, Leverage, Inspire, Transform, Empower—to motivate and equip audiences to embrace the future with confidence.
